View Full Version : [Gameplay] Vindicator Silence Aura Change.

Just a quick suggestion, Vindicator is a hard counter to many heroes who are designed to chain their spells (:wret::chip::glad::pand::pyro::witc:)without any effort then just standing nearby in a team fight, sure he is squishy, which could be tweaked a bit.

Mainly this is a suggestion that focuses on his one key ability, silence aura, it makes him extremely potent at shutting down chain casters, the prime example being :pand:.

This change would remove the silence effect from the aura, keeping the int drain, and adding a % based mana burn to all enemies who cast spells near the vindicator, effectively making his anti-caster aura still anti-caster, but still.

Any enemy hero who casts a spell while in range of the Aura iLoses 2/3/4/5% of the spell's mana cost.

Any enemy hero who dies while in range of the Aura will permanently lose 1 Intelligence while Vindicator permanently gains 2 Intelligence.

Improving other stats, like base STR and STR gain could help balance out the nerf to his incredibly annoying and passive hard counter to chain nukes.

Wat. So basically give Magebane's aura to Vindicator, but...only have it deal 2/3/4/5% of the spell's mana cost in damage, rather than 20/40/60/80%?

I have no freaking idea how that would help or do anything at all to vindi at this point.

It will make vindi completly useless in lategame
