Ive been wondering for a while now if you put life void on a target then death boil does the entire dot of the death boil get the dmg effect from lowered magic armor or only as long as the life void lasts (assuming lvl 1 life void and its short duration). Also if this is not the case is best to deathboil and then life void so that the high ticks of death boil receive the bonus from -magic armor.
Anyone who knows for certain the answers would be helpful.

I am almost 99% positive that the amplified damage only effects when the ticks go through.

I am quite certain that only when the actual ticks of damage go in does the Life Void effect take place. So yes, if your Life Void duration is shorter than your Death Boil duration, and it is practical to do, you may want to Life Void at the final few ticks of Death Boil for maximum damage amplification. It would be hard to imagine the damage-over-time spells in this game working in a way that would have the implication for Life Void that you suggested.
