I don't know if it's the right name for my idea, but here it is:
At first, let's be clear that this idea is hell of a work.
Something that dota lacked, an easy way to integrate own ideas. So my idea is that you can make own items / heros and play them directly, in (probably) private games which aren't counted in the overall statistics. This gives the devs pre-tested heros and the players the ability to mod the game, which is a pretty good thing for long-term motivation.
But first you need to specify the xml-files you use and the models/textures - a convert tool for blender (we don't want to generate more traffice on thepiratebay, do we). You don't really need to integrate something like clickyclicky to make an item/hero, get the other things first :)

It was not only possible, but also done every now and then.But quite a hacky thing... As you can't open the map in the editor, you'll have to tinker a bit.

Didnt take a genius to do it, even I did figure out how to find a unprotection version.

The editor will come with the game , you will be able to do all this with it and scripting ofcourse.
