So there was a fight on the bottom right of the map at around min 17, Electrician TPs back to base, and Flint charges ult on him, Electrician TPs back, and afterwards Flint shoots, killing Electrician all the way back in base... Clearly a bug :)

maybe you misinterpreted the description "it always hits"
lol jk, i do think this should be an exception that doesnt make him miss, but stops channelling his ult.

Ultimate is disjointable, but it should have a max channel range..

In Dota i remember you can do some pretty nutty things with snipe.

Bug plausible?....(Yay! Mythbusters!)

A dev should see this.

I can't watch the replay from work, but are you 100% sure that the projectile wasn't in the air as he TP'd? Meaning shot fired -> TP completed -> traveled to fountain.

The OP means this:

Shot Channeling > TP Completed > Shot Fires > Enemy dies in Fountain

Is this a bug or is this an intended change in Flint's balance? Just like he will not receive experience when killing someone >1000 units range.

I think in DOTA Sniper had a max range (more than 2500, but still a max range), if heroes would move out of that max range, Sniper would stop channeling.

Sniper ultimate is airborn
You have teleported away
the bullet will still follow you regardless

Imo I don't think it's a glitch but it should miss because who heard of a bullet that does a sharp turn xD

I don't see why it should hit someone after teleporting, but NOT hit :mage: after he blinks. It's kind of stupid.

BUT YOU SEE:
in dota, any projectile follows the target after a tp, all the way to base (except enchantress' ult). whether it be an attack or spell. none of this "oh noes you missed" crap. unless it has been changed since i converted to hon, then i invite someone to enlighten me.

You know, if youd actually tp'd to the fountain you'd have lived. They have double click for that !

Also, that really sucks lol. This shouldnt happen.

not a bug. the range is only for the start of the channel. once you start channeling it'll shoot for sure...

It works like this:
Shot Channeling > TP Completed > Shot Fires > Shot hits
Shot Channeling > Shot Fires > TP Completed > Shot misses
Same for leaps (not sure about valk's) and blinks

Same for Scouts ult too, btw (but he stops channeling if enemy is in fog)
