I'm colorblind, and I couldn't see the red reticule over the heads of heroes whenever Flint Beastwood ulted them.
My friends who aren't colorblind also said it was really hard for them to see.
This mod simply changes the reticule from red to white!
If you have a mod that has the same name (lol headshot is popular), rename it to "resources________.s2z", inputting whatever you want.

I'd highly suggest them to take some checks on their eyes. If THAT's difficult for them to see, what isn't Oo
It was originally red. Men typically have troubles with reds, even if they're not colorblind.

even if you are colourblind or have bad vision, a debuff is shown on the hero being targeted (so just use that?)
and if you are beastwood, why would you need the reticule anywayz.

not criticism, alternatives.

Guys stop criticizing this mod. There are a lot of people in the world who are colorblind, and there are quite a few HoN players who are colorblind and may have trouble seeing red. It may be a simple mod, but it's a great idea and I think we should praise him for taking the (small amount of time) it probably took to make this :)

Yes, it's a great mod for the colorblind people out there who have problems seeing it while it's Red.
The thing I questioned, was how NON-colorblind people can state that it's difficult to see the Red one. It isn't.
It was an anecdote designed to explain usefulness outside of colorblindness.
And while YOU may be able to see it perfectly, others may not. Beyond simple classification of "colorblind" or "not colorblind", the way individuals interpret colors varies greatly.

I completely re-made the mod for the author, credited under author's name in the mod (mine is not mentioned anywhere) and made a greyscale icon of Flint Beastwood, since the link seems to be down. Completely same functionality as the old one I'd say, didn't take me long to make. Here you go people:
.honmod: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4441669/FlintBeastwoodColorBlind.honmod
.s2z: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4441669/resourcesFlintBeastwoodCB.s2z
First post updated with new link, mediafire changed my link on me. (Wat?)

Cool, now that you have the link back up, I'll remove the .s2z link I put up. Maybe you wanted to download my .honmod version and upload it yourself? A lot of people preferr .honmods over .s2z's :P .honmod version's author name is written as yours so yeah.
It's such a small mod, I don't see the point in putting up a honmod.
I made it as simplistic as possible, only including the edited reticule effects.
The only reason there would ever be a problem with using the s2z is if they have another mod editing the reticule, in which case, why would they want mine? :P

Maybe another mod makes the reticule stay red... and change the shape of the effect? ;D!

Would it be possible to make a mod that would make the icon smaller?
There's a smaller reticule inside of the big one, rotated 45 degrees. Are you thinking that small, or somewhere in between?

Actually, I'm having difficulties to see it too, since my "player names lite" healthbars are right above it, so yes, even though I'm not colorblind, I'm thankful for anything that makes it more visible.
