Is there a reason that Succubus is able to sleep allied heroes? Had a game where a Succubus was just sleeping her allies the whole game, preventing them from escaping from ganks, etc.

The griefing aspect of it can't be stopped.
It can be used positively, because the first second of the sleep makes you invulnerable. So you can avoid the damage from ulti's / aoe abilities if you use it right.
It can also be uses to stall so that your allies can come get you then again i love to piss people off with it but hey that just me ;).

It can be used if you're trying to save an ally. Example, tempest being chased by nighthound, you sleep Tempest. Nighthound being trigger happy attacks and sleeps himself. Tempest escapes. Of course you would need to time it well since the enemy will just stop attacking if it is obvious.

You can save an ally from Arachna's Ultimate by casting Mesmerize on your ally. The spiderling is put to sleep and dies in 3 seconds. The bottom line is that same as with Nightmare from DotA, Mesmerize being targetable on allies has quite a few utilities.

Arguably the best friendly usage is to sleep that random idiot that runs himself to death with hemorrhage.

Out of curiosity, how is this better than just sleeping Night Hound in the first place? Aside from being invisible, I guess... but honestly, that seems incredibly situational and he still gets his free hit off.

Okay this doesn't sound right. Isn't the spiderling supposed to be magic immune? If so how can the sleep affect it? After all sleep is a magic effect.

Interesting note: denying your allies with this skill actually gives Succubus gold

I had a Succubus deny her team mate with Sleep, and I levelled because of the hero kill.

It's even more crazy if you, for some reason, play DU and get all succubus, gold kills galore! lulz.

Good players know how to take advantage of situations. Every spell is situational in some regard.

Mechanically I would have believed that the Spider would be able to wake someone up without being slept since it's magic immune, but this is apparently not how it works.

Bug?: Moon Queens attack bounces at slept targets, but Moon Queen is not slept.
1) Should the slept target be targeted by the bounces or should they be ignored?
2) If they're not meant to be ignored should Moon Queen be slept?
Or is everything working as intended?
Over all Moon Queen + Succubus on same team = bad atm.

legionnaires counterattack seems to wake them up and sleep the legionnaire. should this be so? his coutnerattack isnt considered Splash? i think its physical

His spin has physical damage type, but even so it should only wake the sleeping unit and not transfer the sleep to Legionnaire himself (so most likely an unintended bug)

Currently it seems that Succubus' Mesmerize transfer procs off of whether physical damage is dealt or not instead of whether the unit was attacked. What that means is that any spell that deals physical damage will have the same effect of transfering the Mesmerize.

While we're on the topic - is Mesmerize transferable directly between teammates?
In DotA you could hit a teammate and eat the Nightmare yourself, which is a move that can save you from a lot of setups, like Bane Kunkka, and makes the skill more balanced in general. I'm quite aware of the fact that a lot of people might not know about this functionality in DotA, but regardless - is this the case in HoN?

No it isn't (yet). I assume this was just an oversight / slack coders :p
