From what I've noticed, you can't give commands to your hero while stunned (not sure about other disables like sleep or shackle). In wc3, you could give a command while stunned and your hero would perform that action as soon as the stun finished.

This can be pretty important, for example if you are stunned by SK/magmus and he starts to ult. If you have a targeted stun then it will be a lot harder for you to interrupt the ult with your own stun if you can't queue up the command while you are stunned.

Yes you can. I've done it many times. They even respect commands given before being disabled.

maybe I'm wrong, from my experience it seem to remember my spells being disabled (as if i was silenced) when I am stunned.

I agree it's really annoying because it's not similar to DotA :(
Can't pre-queue certain spells to cast either

I've had it happen both ways. It seems inconsistent.

I assume it depends if the skill has a 'silence' effect, as listed at the bottom of a skills tooltip.

Would be nice if you could still queue a command with any silence in general, having it execute it right after the silence unless you overwrite it with another command (ie: move). Might need to add some kind of error message or sound effect though in case someone doesn't realize they're silenced and wonders why their skills aren't working.
