Juggernaut was a fine hero in DotA. His early game damage potential with bladefury was nice, he had a good ult for ganks, his passive made him a decent carry, and his ward made him good for pushing.
Swiftblade, on the other hand, is ****ing ridiculous. You took his bladefury, which was already extremely powerful earlygame, and made it MORE powerful with the ability to attack while in the whirl. You took away his healing ward and gave him an ability only suited towards making the game more carry/farm oriented rather than teamwork oriented. What once was a well balanced hero is now ridiculous with the right lane partner. I like my old juggernaut. :(

Attacking while in the whirl is most likely a bug.

Actually. if I recall correctly Juggernaut could attack during the whirl in DoTA too. It was a limitation of the engine and you could hear his attacks occuring mid-whirl.

Yeah, imho Swiftblade is a little imba right now.
Swiftblade and Scout need a nerf for sure.

I think it's the counterstrike that makes swiftblade attack while using bladefury.

You could always attack while in Juggernaut's and the Ladder Blademaster's whirlwind, there was just no animation.

Will be fixed in a future patch.
For reference, Swiftblade in DOTA can attack during bladewhirl, he just can't attack things that are getting hit by the bladewhirl. This means he can bladewhirl and attack towers while he whirls (killing nearby creeps). In HoN, currently he can attack anything (including units getting hit by the bladewhirl).

I think it was IXmike who said it but: The fact you have to stay ontop of your oppenant while whirl-wind is up makes it so attacking while spinning isn't as abusable as people think.

Say that as you're stuck in a Rhasta net that never ends and his partner Jug comes up and stands on you

The range on his ult is also ridiculous.

Actually in DotA, Juggernaut can attack buildings while in whirlwind AND proc Orb Effects.

It's not hard to get on top of someone what with the amount of disables/slows in this game.

I would hope that counter-strike will still work in blade frenzy, it's worthless as it is since no one wastes leveling it early game and it's only good in a jungle scenario that never happens without max blade frenzy, not much synergy on it imo

I think you're all forgetting that his version of omnislash is severely nerfed late-game as compared to Juggernaut in DotA.
It's a set amount of damage, which means that your crits aren't taken into effect, and the cookie-cutter build of Battle Fury (Runed Axe) doesn't even make sense anymore since the ultimate isn't going to be cleaving to nearby opponents.
With the right lane partner he's definitely a little stronger early game being able to attack while in whirl (electrician, pollywog priest) but his late-game potential isn't even close to what it is in DotA.

Yeah, I agree with Supremacy, yes blade whirl is much stronger, and being able to attack and proc crits is kindof crazy, but the non-Omnislash is SEVERELY weaker then its counterpart, including the fact that you can't actually get in 'extra' attacks with higher IAS and such, you can't proc crits, etc. (though I think the runed axe cleave should work)
Basically where people worried more about a heavily farmed Jugg, swift farms better and is more useful early game but suffers late for it, which sounds like a fair trade.

Anything with Swiftblade's Bladefrenzy = win. I don't think he is all that strong later on though. Sure he is good for first blood but beyond that, eh.

You're mistaken. He does attack targets in between his ult. That is how his Battlefury is useful because he is able to cleave others while performing his ult. He can also crit in between attacks making a battlefury even better.

Make him same as in DotA or at least do the proper ulty... I played with a guy (a friend of mine) and he had 5 battle furies -kills one semi-mega creep pack in one hit and he cant slay crystal maiden... His ulti is useless in the late game... MAke it normal ffs...
Sorry if i overreacted...

It's easy to die when you make a mistake, pollywog is a king at taking advantage of mistakes. He and pretty much anybody can land a kill easy. It's not youre supposed to win in a 2v1 anyways, if you're laning against juggs and a disable call for help or be cautious (stay the hell away from the lizard if juggs is around). It requires a setup, otherwise you can easily move out of the way of bladespin, and if you can't you should have had shoes.
Personally I think being able to attack while bladespinning is cool, now he doesnt have a skill thats only used as an escape mid-lategame.
