I just had a game where some guy on the other team didn't start out with any gold. He then later noticed that he didn't receive the standard gold per second that every other player get.

Happened to my friend during beta. We played 2v2, and he had no starting gold. We still won tho :D

I just saw the replay again, and it seems like his team received extra gold at start, just like when there is less heroes on the team. It's kinda like the game didn't know he was in the game

ive seen a thread on this exact same thing, and it was during retail with a hellbringer.
Chronos APM:
no starting gold, no gold per minute ---> press every possible button multiple times out of shear rage for several minutes ---> rage quit

I played a All Hero No Leaver Game with a mate and joined w/o Gold and not getting it per Minute. I played the :valk:
I think its a server issue, so it should not be important on what machine im playing.
btw: all mates get my gold at spawn but i dont know if they get the g/m for me.

just by looking at the final gpm and items it may not be clear, but download the replay and you shall see.
i start with 0, my teammates start with 1066 (was AR)
by the 10 min mark i had 5 minor totems :D
the funny thing was that i managed to get more gpm than 2 others

and i think i know when it will happen...
before the match, in the lobby, the host autobalanced. it put me as teal. but for some reason there was only 4 people in my team and 5 on the other (orange missing). i looked down the list of names to find which one was white that wasnt sitting. it was none of them. even though i was in the teal slot it showed my name in orange, and the player Aggy` not present but with his name in teal. we tried this a couple of times ending in the same result so we just let Aggy` sit in orange and we started.
maybe it thought Aggy` was in the teal spot and that the orange spot was still vacant leaving me with 0 starting gold and 0 gpm.

Fairly sure serious bugs that occur frequently are important to try and get S2's attention by documenting known cases. Especially considering the fact that the other thread isn't in the "confirmed" section and has been up for 2 weeks.
The search feature is there to prevent spamming topical threads that have already been discussed, even though it is rarely used.

Yep because every match id represents a game that was started, and because everyone reports the bug when they see it.
I agree with wolfy about trying to make bugs like this more aware

To me it happened when we started the game while I was still attempting to share my hero with someone.
The guy in question started with 1000+ gold, whereas I started with just the bonus gold from random (200 and a bit), and I didn't get my Gold/Min.

Had a crash on a loading faze. When I reconected, had no money and my teammates got 1066 (it was arem, I played Fayde). During the game money didn't grow. Didn't get money for towers.

Went into a game of alternate pick + all heroes, host accidentally started when it was 4v5 but we all went with it. I'm pink on the team of five, it skips me and goes to grey, then to blue, then to light blue... I assume it'll come back.
It doesn't, and I right click a hero to try and get something or other of my choice instead of random. After the loading screen (dunno if it's worth mentioning but grey dc'd somewhere by here) the game freezes for me, but I can still read chat. I can't successfully communicate using the chat, or go to the game itself, it's like I pressed f6 and removed my f6 key (see screenshot). I restart HoN in hopes of getting into the game, I reconnect, the only difference now is that I can talk. Then people remake the game and I come here for a bug report! :pest:
Brief Description: In a recent match, the game began as a 4v5, with the blue slot empty and locked. The game mode was All Pick, with Alternate Selection enabled. Hero selection completely skipped pink and the game began without him able to choose a hero. Consequently, he was left in the lobby and unable to see the game actually happening. He was still able to chat to us.
Match ID: 12003660, but we remade the game.
EDIT: Looks like someone else from the same game posted a thread about this while I was typing this out.

After we started my gold was splited to all other player and my gold was set to 0. Then i wasnt getting any gold over time.
The next problem was that i wasnt able to read teamchat. Only if i was dead or my team wrote in all chat.
Also i was not able to see what i wrote.
