Avalanche/Chuck combo, not working?

I just spent a bit in a solo game messing around with double hit avalanche/chuck combo, and it appears to not be working. I tried both chucking first, and avalanching first and neither seems to get the double hit like in dota. Anybody getting the same?

It isn't a double-hit like in DotA, but chucking an enemy and Stalagmiting deals double damage from the Stalagmites (no extended stun duration though)

I'm pretty sure it is Stag-Chuck in that order. At least that was what I was told here.

I spent a while in a game by myself yesterday and found that the combo works right until you get enlarge (just stun and toss immediately after you throw out the stun, it's a little different than dota). So yeah, guess what skill is pretty damn useless at the moment.
