View Full Version : Puzzlebox + Succubus' ult

In DOTA, when you use your puzzlebox, and then bane ult, you could then select your hero and your 2 dudes rly quick and right click the ult'ed target. It wouldn't break the ult, bane would still channel. In HON, succubus stops channeling and starts attacking, making it much much harder to micro the puzzlebox along with the ult. Any chance of that getting changed?

If you tell all three units in your selection group to attack the unit you intend to cast your Ultimate on before you cast your Ultimate, you will have the same effect as doing the reverse in DotA.
And please look around the front page before creating new threads, there are certainly no less than two other topics covering this exact same topic, and if I may add this is certainly NOT a mechanics question.

I know what you mean, thats why I dont like to play with syllabear anymore. I am too used to warcraft 3 microing system, HoN is a bit different, but the difference is too big to get used too.
Might have to suck 50 games with wildsoul b4 i will get used to it, not something i would like to do with this sucky pre6.60 hero.

yeh this is a bad mistae which hon has made. in warcraft III channeling > auto attack so if u had say 3 people grouped and 1 was channelling only 2 of them would auto attack

a better micromanage system needs to be put in. Ophelia is HELL to play as.

Agreeing with Evilite. Also, when selecting multiple units including your hero, your hero does not become the primary selected unit like it would in Warcraft III. Thus, I often have to press Tab several times when I have multiple units selected in order to get to my hero.

I would settle for a system that remembers the unit groups of recurring unit types (i.e. consecutive malphas spawns will be recallable by the same unit group key; same with puzzlebox wizard/mauler).

That is a pretty neat idea. They would have to take in account the existence of two malphas though.

I do not understand what "sucky pre6.60 hero" means because as far as I know, Syllabear has not changed. I just hosted a 6.61c and Syllabear's abilities seemed the exact same, can you explain?

His "Wild" affects both him and the bear. His bear has inventory at level 1, and I think some other minor changes. Those changes however change him from average, to good.
