[1.0.6] Multiple Logins on Same Account

So, me and my friends we're playing some 3's yesterday when we came across a strange situation.

Brief Description: three players all named exactly the same (cidz) entered our lobby and took a seat. We noticed they all had EXACTLY the same stats, down to the very last creep kill and deny. I realised this was odd and confronted them about it.

How to replicate: Apparently it's possible to log on more than one person onto the same account and play games! The server even handles it as one person and all their stats get combined.

I'm fairly confident that this isn't a part of s2's origional deisign and hopefully this goes some way to highlighting the problem!

Brief Description:
Two players having exactly the same nickname.
While the game thinks it's only 1 account
(screwed up stats; 2nd guy being not existent at all)
they were definitely 2 different people playing.

How to Replicate:
No idea how they did it, but apart from screwing
with all stats it also looks to me like this may
be an exploit where users without an account
are able to play the game.

They have the same nicks (no hidden characters (I guess)), since banlist assist said the brown one can't be banned because he already is banned (due to banning the green one first):

hey guys i came across a peculiar thing, i joined a game and there were 4 players locked with the same name and stats, allthough 1 of them had a lower psr but still the same amount of wins/kills/deaths/assists and other stats..

the players name is: SplasheR from the clan [RaU] (Russians and Ukrains)

i left the game before it started but here is the match ID: 6221393

i just want to know if this is legal and how that is done?! because it seems a bit difficult to multi-box this game :D

Although they logged in 4 times for this match, they didn't actually play any matches I could see that were recorded with all 4 players. I fixed issue already so as of next patch the game servers wont allow this.
