That's what I'd like to know. Information and support seem to be scarce for this tournament.

There's a few decent mid-teams I recognize in there as well. xFin and EzPz off the top of my head.
tSm is also in there at the very bottom of the bracket, results not in yet (but I assume they won)
Just saw MILK in there as well.
Surprised not to see DRD in there. They're currently 7-0 in the Alienware open division.
I don't recognize anyone in our bracket by player name or team name. So, a lesser known team WILL be making it into the semi-finals lol

bracket says loaded lost in first round... I'm guessing this is a FF win since they were also supposed to play us tonight for alienware but had to postpone due to not enough players
we won our match and i even reported the match with specific points.
Those shady ExS swedish guys must have done something.
Newegg is failing at running this tournament with vague rules and stuff.

I hear that. Have you tried to get support yet? We opened a support ticket for clarification about whether it was best of three or just one match like eight hours before the tournament started. We still only have the response "A specialist is required to answer your question.".
But hey, my opponents didn't even show up, so all the same to me, I guess.

Well, stacking the games on EVERY day is going to make it a logistical nightmare for them.
I'm trying to contact the support on a ticket and even on irc.
No luck tho

Well for one question, its single elimination I believe, thus the name single elimination bracket on their website. Load has been correctly placed ahead too.

I would LOVE to know if anyone else has had an absolutely terrible experience with this "tournament." I can barely stand to call it that, seeing how poorly it was run.
First, we couldn't figure out if it was single elimination, or best of three. Nobody seemed to know....not even Bdiz. (One of my clanmates actually contacted him to see if he was able to find out xD) So, after a while we figured that out....not that it mattered. Oh, by the way, it took over 2 days for an admin to get back to us about the eliminations.
Our first match was a no-show...oh well. The second match was scheduled for Thursday at 9pm. The other team contact our team leader asking if we can play at 10:30 instead, and we can't since we had plans for after the match, which we pushed back to play the match in the first place. After this...an admin tells our team leader that we MUST play them by the time our next match was scheduled for, which was Monday night. We hear NOTHING from the other team for a full 72 hours. At this point we don't even care anymore, because clearly Newegg has no idea what they're doing. Yet, we are still prepared to play if they ask us to. Finally, they contact us on Sunday night at 9 saying they can play right now. We're already out doing things...it's the weekend for Christ's sake.
In the end, we were eliminated because we didn't wait around all weekend sitting on HoN for a team that couldn't play at the scheduled time and decided to conveniently wait until the absolute last minute to "schedule" a match with us. Well played, Newegg. Well played...
I heard a couple stories from other teams similar to that. Teams rescheduling games at the last minute only to win by default. Either they're understaffed for the size of this event or it's poorly organized.

If that is the case then it is a shame because I am personally excited to see such a tournament with a VERY good prize pool for only being a two week tournament or so. The fact that it just started last week and we will have a $3000 first place winner in a couple of nights is pretty awesome.
I wouldn't be surprised however if they are indeed understaffed as I have yet to see a response from any of them on this forum post and you aren't the first story I have heard. Well, here is to hoping at the very least the tournament finishes successful and the teams get their prizes in a timely manner!

Things that are awesome:
1) Brackets are obvious
2) Tournament plays out quickly
3) Fat cash prizes
4) My team has played normal people in normal games so far
Not so awesome:
1) Speed of rounds can cause a LOT of issues if not quickly addressed
2) Sketchy acts of swindling going unpunished and uncorrected
3) The support ticket system is really finicky
I have to give em props for running such an insane format, but I think a little more spacing could have gone a long way to helping the players and the admins.
@breaky nice casting dodge lover

I sent in 2 support tickets which were both answered in a few hours.
Apparently none of the admins knew whether it was bo1 or bo3 though, lol.
This tournament would have gone much, much better if they had just ONE admin in-game that actually knew what was going on. Apparently only the CS admins are active

Glostik just answered my support ticket, after five days, and blamed me, saying I should've just recorded the win myself.
Spoilers: We recorded the victory twice. Newegg took it back twice. What a joke.
