View Full Version : Charging Strikes + Runed Axe
How does runed axe work in relationship to multiple units being hit by charging strikes. Will enemies be impacted several times?

Each hit counts like an auto attack would and each hit will splash thanks to runed axe, leading to you instagibbing creep waves

You just basically autoattack every enemy that gets hit.
Multi-Targeted Physical Attacks and Spells Guide (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=30793&highlight=charging)
Charging Strikes is an ability that Dark Lady possesses. When cast, it physically moves her to target location (does not ignore terrain) and any enemy that the Dark Lady passes through during the skill will suffer damage as if she physically attacked them. This means that Charging Strikes will trigger debuffs/buffs when attacking an enemy with certain debuffs/buffs on them, including Cursed Shield, Mesmerize and Sear.
The attacks on each separate target are reduced like any normal attack by calculating with armor type, armor value and damage block. If one of the targets evades the attack, no attack modifier debuffs will be placed on that target. The target will still lower Dark Lady's attack on the next target by 15% though.
Yes. Each target causes splash damage to be dealt (same goes for Charged Hammer, every single target you charge through has a 1 in 5 chance to proc lightning). Keep in mind that with Runed Axe the damage diminishes as the ability is used, but for the most part you rip through creep waves instantaneously, especially with Dark Blades activated.
