When I bind puzzlebook to 2, it should remain after I respawn it. I have to rebind the units every time and I can't stand it. It makes the item extremely hard to micro in combat. Dota had this issue too and I hope s2 can do something to make it better. I think in general microing units is so much more difficult. I hope s2 can tweak it to make it easier to select units that you spawn. It's easier with bear and chen but the bind stays on the units so it is much easier. I hope you can see my point.

Need smaller endowment to micro with no problem. Also physical appearance with shortening the gap between the eyes. Top it off with a squeezing of the physical appearance and facial features.

Well, I had not many problems with the item in dota. But I find it much harder to juggle 2 or more grps in HoN then it was in wc3. I think the interface has a little delay when switching grps or something.
W/e it is having the units from the puzzle box stay in a grp you bind them to for the next summon might be a nice addition.

In the Warcraft 3 engine if you for example had a group of units that had one of them channeling a spell and ordered the whole group to attack something the one that was channeling wouldn't attack. Should be the same here; makes microing the minions very annoying (Breaking the ultimate channels of Succubus and Tempest while trying to micro your minions around, anyone? Was a lot simpler in DotA).

At the moment you have to deselect your hero and then select your minions. Quite queer, if you ask me.

It sounds like most people are using Succubus with Puzzle Box in this order:
1. Cast Puzzle Box.
2. Select all units.
3. Cast Ultimate.
4. Attack enemy.

If you do the following instead, you should find it easier to use the Puzzle Box combo with Succubus:
1. Cast Puzzle Box.
2. Select all units.
3. Attack enemy.
4. Cast Ultimate.

The Puzzle Box minions will retain the order to attack while your Succubus is channeling her Ultimate.

I can't believe people dont use puzzlebox. If i'm versing a magmus/nighthound/scout and i'm a int hero this is basically one of the first items i get. Its incredibly awesome with the mana burn + true sight. And the 800 true damage it deals out if they kill the melee guy is HUGE. Biggest nuke in the game.

Isn't the Puzzlebox still broken?

The ranged summon doesn't mana burn properly, and the melee summon doesn't burn mana on hit properly either.

it needs to be reworked. and for the retard that said press tab, try having two chickens on your team. tab first goes to the monkey, then the next monkey, and then the units. Its a simple fix. When a player binds the summons to a key just freaking keep it and it is no problem. I shouldnt have to reselect the summons every time. It kills about .8 seconds of time and that could be death or missing a kill.

hahahah two chickens what is this KFC? Tab doesn't work for people who actually are good at this game. You won't have only 1 unit to tab through. Such as chen, you can't tab through 4-6 other units one by one by one to get to something you need to cast with.

tab doesnt work as well with chen but it works fine if you are succubus :P

but i suppose with summons it would be easier. (although they really dont require that much micro all i do is just select, rightclick, and then manually grab the ranged dude and mana burn, then i find that it didnt do anything D: )
you dont tab with chen obviously X_X. but like other heroes say meepo its MUCH easier just to tab through the 4 guys, :P

puzzle box warrior melee is still hilarious tho, esp when you kill with it from the grave. its liek oh look his minions are still here, lets kill them for gold :D
