Another Scoreboard Mod

After a night of experimenting with modding, this is what was created.
I've made it much thinner, and slightly taller than the normal version.

Also, I hope all the random strings of text are understandable without explanations.

There are probably some more things that needs adjusting, so if you decide to download this mod and find an issue with it, please write so here.

The 'minimize scoreboard' button now toggles displaying hero name/player name.

Installing
To install, download the .s2z file into the games folder game/ folder. The default locations for these are:

Linux: /home/<username>/HoN/game/
Windows 7: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Windows Vista: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Windows XP: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
Mac:
1. Press Finder
2. Press Applications
3. Right click 'Heroes of Newerth', and press Show containing files
4. Open Game folder
5. Move file here

-Adding votes indicators (yes/no) and disconnected indicators
-Adding tooltips to the hero icons with the hero names. (good for beginners who don't know face to name)
-Already added colored k/d/a in red/green/orange.

Works... meh... at the moment. Only updates if you have the menu open. Trying to find a workaround together with MaxGhost.

Hiding a part of the panel would be possible, but would require some reworking that I'm not sure I'm capable of doing (this has been pretty much only trial and error so far). Maybe later if/when more people request it/I get better.

Yeah, used that until it started saying that I had already uploaded that file. Had no idea you could update an upload directly, going to try that when I get home.

You can upload files with the same name many times over... you might have to make an account though, but I suggest it.

Trying to sum it up, it turns out it was alot less than I thought. But it felt like alot, so I'm bumping it up to 3.0.

VOIP functions won't be added, MaxGhost already made a beautiful mod for that.
I will remove the Score button and the gear in the next patch. I will also add tooltips for hero names.

i dont know if it's fixed already but sometimes i got bugs with the disconnect and vote icons on the left of the board
disc icons suddenly appear, 2 x F10 to remove them

Known problem. There's currently no way for the scoreboard to monitor votes unless the menu is open.

You need to put the lowboll folder included with the mod with all the pictures in the ui folder too...

the little arrow next to each team's scoreboard is too small to click fast. Make it that Right-clicking a panel will close it maybe

I'm almost done with adding the scores button opening and closing both scoreboards. the only problem i am running into is i cant find the files/code to make it look like the scores button and giving the button higher priority over the one already there. if i find a solution to that ill release it by tomorrow night. also its my first time editing an mod so the code might look like **** but it works.

This mod is great, a suggestion would be to create a "half open" mode kinda like the default one where it only shows Hero icon and level

comments/suggestions/bugs can be posted in this thread.
one small bug i know of is if you use the buttons on the scoreboard then try using the scores button you may have to click it twice for it to change.

i edited game.interface and deleted the scores button there (not sure if its safe to do that but meh...) then at the bottom of the package you can see my code. its really messy and ill be uploading another one soon where its clean and has some small fixes. also made it so that the scoreboard starts out minimized.

edit: ill just put the code here. Im new to modding so it may not be the ideal way of doing it and it may be messy but it works.

if i'm seeing the screenshots correctly, is there a mode for full open, full close, and partial open?

what seems like partial open and full open dont' display any more/less info. maybe the two should be combined into one, so that all you have is open mode and close mode.

dealing with 3 modes and the order and stuff can be annoying.

That's normal. The OP is outdated, and the .honmod version went through a few changes.

looks nice, tho i have some trouble with it.
I installed the honmod version from the repository as well as the colored KDA ratio add on. Im also using Scoreboard hotkey toggle mod (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=58370).
Now the problem is, your scoreboard mod overlaps with the normal one, the normal one is still there. Looks not very good. Your "Score" button is directly on my menue buttons (using bart UI), what also looks kinda ugly.

So im asking, is there a possibility to remove the normal scoreboard, and be able to toggle your scoreboard by the hotkey mod?

I'll take a look at improving the honmod code for this. The creator originally had decided to just drop a package file on top of it to facilitate the legacy .s2z combining method. That's not needed anymore, so I'll fix it.

Now if only we could only get someone to make the scoreboard a little longer. It's annoying when you're level 25 and you have a double digit KDR and can't see numbers properly.

It was originally not like that. Some of the people like FearParanoia messed around with it and it ended up staying like that. I fixed it myself cause I didn't like it, if you want me to upload it.

Yeah, this is the only scoreboard mod I like out there right now.

Sucks because in order to update it someone would have to completely rework the entire scoreboard to incorporate S2's moved concede/pause buttons, as well as the thumbsup/down for votes onto portraits.

Seeing as how the mod owner hasn't updated the mod in a long time, I doubt it will ever be compatible again.
