Theres no 'map' suggestions or whatever.

There are three lone trees missing from the immediate outside of the hellbourne base, between the top and middle lanes. Outside of the top jungle.

One tree can make a world of a difference when trying to break line of sight, and I have some fond memories of juking with just those three little trees. I'll put up a SS from dota in a bit.

Edit: SS's

(I messed up one of the tree locations as i drew it, but you get the point.)

I know how difficult it'd be to get the map down tree for tree, but with these details missing they might have missed a lot more than just this.

Edit#3

Wow, just comparing the two shows how much more inaccurate they were in replicating the map. I mean, it's close, but the ledge is much more circular than it is squared off as it is in HoN. I bet when they release the map editor, some freak is going to remake the forest of caldavar much more accurate than S2 could.

Put op a screen of HoN where they should be as well.

Yeah those do seem pretty good for losing line of sight.

Does the legion equivalent area on the map have trees like that in dota or hon?

I haven't checked because I VERY often play with friends who host the game, so I'm usually going into the scourge/hellbourne base, and can't notice it from within the legion base.

There probably are, and I can easily run both clients and alt tab between them, I might as well should check. S2 isn't perfect, theres probably tons of game changing inaccuracies, and many more irrelevant ones.

Nice find

I'll keep this in Mechanics because it's a difference from DotA

I'm more concerned about all the juke spots that are missing. Note-worthy is the juke pattern in the scourge bot secondary tower, the path there is blocked off so you can't even complete a circuit.

I'm more concerned about all the juke spots that are missingThis is a juke spot. If you're running away from top either towards or from their base assuming you're on legion side, first, run behind those trees. This breaks their line of sight, which means no skills no nothing. From there, you can wait until they approach you then run behind the next tree, swing around into the jungle. By the time you reach the jungle they'll be at the tree wondering what just happened.

Not many pro players (at least that I've played with) have ever really taken a note of those awesome trees that save lives on a daily basis.

Note-worthy is the juke pattern in the scourge bot secondary towerMy memory fails, SS's of HoN and Dota? I don't mind turning this into a 'correct the dota map' thread. The current map is close enough as it is, I'm sure it'd be extremely easy to edit in the few small details that they might have overlooked.

He knows it's a juke spot, keyword in his post was "all".

There's also a problem with the trees at the bottom right corner under Legion's tower. The line of sight is definitely different. This is coming from somebody who's juked over thousands of players in there.
