This mod will replace to original HoN soundtrack with something more... Intense. And epic.


Contains lobby music, and ingame tracks, total length of tracks is ~40min.
I don't have much to say except "enjoy".

How to install:
Just put the file in \Heroes of Newerth\game

Does work. Drag the "music" folder and put it in "Heroes of Newerth/game" folder. You might also want to turn up the music volume ingame since it sounds really low for such an "epic" music.

Your right, lobby isn't working. However the rest is fine. Also a lil bit of review... I'm getting tired of this sound pack after 4-6 games. Theres probably like over 12 songs in there. However, it all sounds the same, with the woman and man in the background and little bit of drum and beat. Anyone else agree?

I agree. One more thing is that the songs change really fast and cut half way through...

Its not working for me, even after following your steps. The original music of hon is what plays. Do u have an answer to fix my problem?

I imagine, this is gonna get old after listening to it for EVERY game... but I'm totally stoked to download this and play with it for the time being. I'm a big audio person (how do people play video games with the sound off?) and I'm totally stoked about this :D

yeah doesn't work for me either :\ I even created a music folder in the game folder and tried putting it there. No beans.

I got it to work. Just had to unzip it with 7zip and put it in the music folder.

Epic pack is epic, bit of a shame they didn't use Clint Mansells' requiem for a tower but this is definately more epic than the RA2 Epic pack.

Not working for me. Please help me install it; I've dragged it into my Game folder, but I just get the original music of HoN.


EDIT: Fixed; I love it, and it actually does help my gameplay.

Pretty decent. Tracks are not fully complete however, and could be much more extended, The thing come off somewhat as a mixtape. It works however good ingame, mood and ear pleasing. This thing is sooo much better than the real hon music, jeeesus so much better.

I think I'm going to rework this and make a more working one, not what you could call a "mixtape" :P

Well atm, I use IceyWill's mod (it's on the 3rd page at time of posting), which is basically an extended version of what you did, Contester.

If you plan to rework it, IMO, keep updated with the new tracks DragonStarDT adds to his channel (you know, subscribe to it) and order the songs to build up the momentum of the game.

I got a fixed version, I had to put 3 hours plus into it. Turned out that I could have done it in 10 minutes if 7Zip hadn't corrupted it each time.
