Deaths for a DCd player

I always believed a player's stats were still affected after they DCd, until their 5 minutes are up of course. But someone the other day assured me that any deaths wouldn't count towards their stats.

Do they?

Stats will still apply to the player during the five minutes of their reconnection time; even if someone on your team leaves and your team wins, if his hero still hasn't been removed from the game then he will also receive the victory and PSR gain.

Same applies to losing/deaths/kills.

So if you have a ragequitter you can feed his hero to Kongor during his 5 minutes and make his stats drop pretty hard.


All of the above is assuming that the game ends within their 5 minute time period--otherwise they will just get a leaver and no stat loss/gain.

If a leaver's team wins after he gets his leave, I've heard people say he still gets the PSR gain, that he gets a loss instead, and that he gets no stat changes. They can't all be right.

Can I get a clear response whether leavers get a win and the associated PSR gain if their team wins?

It seems like giving them a loss or no stats change would compromise the integrity of the PSR system, since you are slowly "leaking" points.

Leavers will still gain PSR if their team wins but they will get a loss.
