Why was his +armor and small hp regen changed to a attack buff with limited use?

I agree
it doesn't make up for the armor buff at all

I used him the otherday and he just seemed so useless besides his ult after that

this new skill (+ attack) - for more good last hit,
but without +hp and +armor , keeper don't have good lane control

i think skill need - +hp, armor, and attack - it look like very useful)

Treant already has a huge base damage attack, the new buff is just a wasted skill slot if you ask me. Put the +armor/hp regen back in!

the problem with this wooden stick is that its useless mid to lategame. u dont have the time to grab a trunk every 15 seconds. besides its even worse than lanaya refraction in dota in every way.

he's still ok but like in dota he's too passive a hero. he can attack, cast ulti and thats it. eyes are of few use most of the time especially with this cooldown and invis is rarely useful aswell

The biggest problem with this hero is the fact that invis seems to have a 1 second or so, channeling time lol?

Try to invis yourself or a teammate while right clicking forward.... you lose your cd and don't become invis. That's a huge problem when you're in a very close team fight and trying to save someone/yourself while running away (or chasing).

Battlefury + radiance + assault cuirass = win

Tree was a pure support hero in Dota, so I guess they thought they'd make the hero more interesting by giving him another offensive-type skill besides his ultimate. But, by doing so, they really nerfed the hero, as living armor was amazing for early game lane control and even during late game as a substantial armor buff and slight heal over time for most of your team (you could usually keep it up on at least four of your teammates at all times when you were pushing).

Also, I know you used to be able to invis people who weren't next to trees and they'd at least go invis for up to a max of one second. If anyone was attacking that person they'd automatically switch targets during the short invis, but I'm pretty sure this doesn't work anymore.

Losing truesight for eyes of the forest was an unfortunate nerf as well.

All in all, I get that people thought the dota version could be boring at times since he had to rely on his teammates, but he was definately useful to some extent and he required an interesting play style.
