Something annoying that happened to me quite a few times:

Obviously as title mention, right-clicking allies (heroes and non-heroes).
To explain, when right-clicking an allied target your character moves to that target until he reaches it. This part is ok, nothing is wrong here. But in fact, the action will not end after reaching the target, there is no stop command. In fact, your character gonna follow endlessly the one you right-clicked, nothing more than follow.

So you might wonder why is it a problem...
Try to last hit an enemy creep and misclick yours, you missed that last hit.
Try in a team fight to normal attack an enemy hero and misclick your teammate. You lost precious seconds of the fight following your mate without any damage done.

What I ask is simply but it the same as DotA. After the target is reached, your character starts auto-attacking the nearest enemy target, like it would if you had only right-clicked on the ground.

Agreed ?

I use it to follow my teammates, fat fingering clicks or keys is another problem

Rightclick for moving, A+click for attacking.

It's the same as WC3/dota, right clicking an allied unit will follow it until you command otherwise.

Yes but in WC3 your character will not only follow the target, it will assist it in fighting.

Another example:
I love dominating neutral creeps, especially the one that gives you +15 Attack Speed Aura. But I wouldn't mind if he helped me attack in lanes and help farming :)

Kind Regards

Good suggestion OP. I no problem with this at all.

Though this is somewhat of a different issue, I wouldn't mind if the follower stoped a short distance away from the leader in order to avoid the pathing issues that close units cause. It has been an annoyance for me several times.

I have mixed feeling about the current implementation.
