I cannot find any servers, cant join matchmaking.

I cant see any servers, and I cant create a server either, and when I try matchmaking I just get disconnected. What is wrong?

Open the ports hon uses.

First, check your game's console for something like "Download time expired", maybe your internet could not be fast enough to download the list or find a game.
If you are using windows, check if the game is being accepted on window's firewall. Next, if you using some kind of router you will need to open the HoN's ports:


Heroes of Newerth Default Ports:
Login/Update: Port 80
Chat Server: Port 11031
Game Server: Port Range 11235 - 11335

Traffic needs to be both ways.

if the problem persists then disable your routers firewall/SPI

What ports are HoN using?

Edit: are you using a proxy?

Otherwise try post #3 above(remove them if it doesn't work). Any more problems, try the networking support subforum of tech support.
