Recommended items

I have a very interesting discussion with other player about recommended items.
He told me that in beta version recomended items could change while you playing one game with your level!
But I don't remember things like this. Is it true?
He also said Torturer:tort: has wrong recommended items but his item build is more usefull and he is overskilled with it!:smile:
Unfortunately I don't know what he buys and can't ask until I do not know the correct answer about recommended items.

recommended items do not change over the course of a game. they do change after a patch, when a developer has decided it's appropriate.

the recommended items lists are for people new to the game, and it's encouraged you find a build that's more suitable to your tastes as you get more skilled at the game.

also, you posted in the wrong section. ot is for non-hon related subjects.

Sry about wrong section, it seems I can't move it to right one. but Is torturer usefull at least without Staf of the Master and Sacrificial Stone?!

Sac stone is probably a must for him at some point of the game, or else you remain glass

he can most certainly do without them, sacrificial stone was particularly good on him when the charges gave both mass health and mana regen. those were the days of the "int carries", but now that is pretty much dead.

staff of the master on him really doesn't do a whole lot for his ult, it adds about what, 33 extra damage per pulse? not very good imo

item builds are generally up to the user and their supposed counters, maybe you need to get a disable to stop someone from ulting or doing mass damage to your team - you would get a totem of kuldra or stormspirit.

i'll just say that the recommended item list is not the end-all be-all builds for your hero.
