View Full Version : patch 1.0.2 "buildblocklist: truncated block" error

since the new patch (1.0.2) i have been unable to join any game ever time i start loading hon crashs and i get an error "buildblocklist: truncated block"
i was hoping for either a fix or at least to make S2 aware I've never had any reaccuring problems with hon and have been playing the beta for several months prior to retail

Do you have any mods?
The devs might also want to see the specs on your computer seeing if its your specific computer causing the problem

I'm not running any mods also i just wanted to clarify i meant while loading a game lobby not after picking hero's and not while launching the game itself
my system specs are: vista business edition 32bit
AMD dual core processor 6000+ (3.01GHz)
4GB ram
Nvidia 220GT 1gb ram

Same re-installed twice already. Crashes before I get into the lobby.

I am getting the exact same error, except that it was working for me last night, and my hon crashes as soon as I open it, I don't even get to the login screen.
Can we get the log please.

sorry I'm not sure where to find the log and unlike the errors/crash's i previously encountered in the beta there's no choice to save it the only button is "ok"
same proble here, cant join the lobby

I got the same error but while the final loading. I lost PSR and got a DC, thats nice...

I only got this like twice in 1.0.2 & those were random crashes.
Anyway, moving on...
Crash dumps are in \My Documents\Heroes of Newerth\game
I would post this stuff in Tech Support in the future - though you can repost a thread if it still happens for 1.0.3 if you have sufficient information
