well I was playing a game as madman today, the other team's carries were valkyrie and jugg and I didn't believe they were farming well enough to outcarry me late-game, so I opted for savage mace as my second dps item following runed axe.
Where as in dota mkb and crit are independent of each other, I believe I didn't crit once once savage mace was complete. I'm kinda hoping that the crit numbers were just not showing up, because needless to say, it was a huge drop in dps on a hero like madman.
That was based on my experience though, I would like the input of others who have more experience in HoN mechanics.
