Here’s a first Draft of something I’ve been thinking about. I’m useless at Numbers so would like some feedback and HELP with figures please.



The visuals are also just placeholder. Anyway, don’t destroy it too much!

Story


Since being outcast blah blah… Devoted her life to the worship of the Sun, blah blah The Sun Maiden returns to call forth the power of the sun on enemies and allies alike.



Role


Although a capable damage dealer, Maiden’s primarily sits as a Support Hero. Her flare and Sun Bath Abilities are unique and potential game winners, while alone she is weaker than other Int Classes.


Stats (Just Holder for now)

Strength: 17 + 1.8
Agility: 13 + 1.2
Intelligence: 25 + 2.9
Starting Stats: TBC
Movement Speed: 290
Range: 550


Skill 1 – (Sun) Burn

Blasts the target with a painful beam of sunlight burning the victim…..
…Causing a small amount of initial damage and a damage over time “sunburnt” effect. Whilst under the effect of the sun burn, victims take additional damage from all sources. [Effect does not work on Structures/machines]

Descriptors: [Target]
1. Initial Blast of <20>, followed by <60> dmg over 6 Secs;
+4% dmg whilst effected by debuff
2. Initial Blast of <30>, followed by <80> dmg over 8 secs;
+6% dmg whilst effect by debuff
3. Initial Blast of <40>, followed by <100> dmg over 10 Secs;
+8% dmg whilst effect by debuff
4. Initial Blast of <50>, followed by <120> dmg over 12 Secs;
+10% dmg whilst effect by debuff


Mana Cost: 100/120/140/160
CD: 6/8/10/12
Sunburnt Effect:
Increases damage from all sources by 4/6/8/10%

Balance: Great for early lanes because it’s a good harass and will compliment other heroes with the Dmg debuff. This ability compliments well will her follow up semi nuke (Sun Beams) and with the Flare of light. Can also be used as a finisher on runners.
Visual: Initially a burst of light at the target, then the target glows for the duration of the debuff.

Skill 2 – Sun Beams

Sun Beams. Maiden focuses beams of sunlight at her victims….
Damaging the primary target for substantial damage and subsequent targets for decreasing amounts. The Initial target is stunned.

1. Initial Target for <100> dmg,
Stun target for <0.1> secs
2. Initial Target for <175> dmg, 1 other Target for 40%,
Stun initial target for <0.2> secs
3. Initial Target for <250> dmg, 2 other Targets for 60/40%,
Stun initial target for <0.2> secs
4. Initial Target for <300> dmg, 3 other targets for 80/60/40%,
Stun initial target for <0.3> secs

Mana Cost: 120/140/160/180
Cooldown: 15


Balance: Gains power as the game progresses. So a standard nuke (not big nuke though) in early game which becomes more viable in team situations later. Also gains creep pushing power as it gains levels.
Visual: Small Vertical Beams (say a mini version of Moonqueen ulti)

Skill 3 - Flare of Light

The Maiden calls upon the Sun gods to light up an area of the map…
…granting vision of that area. Whilst in the area ally units/heroes are infused with sunlight and receive HP and Dmg buff as well as boosting the effect of ‘Sun Bath’.


Descriptors: [Target Ground (all Map)]
1. Vision on Area on map (700 radius), 50 HP, +4 Dmg
2. Vision on Area on map (750 radius), 100 HP, +6 Dmg
3. Vision on Area on map (800 radius), 150 HP, +8 Dmg
4. Vision on Area on map (900 radius), 250 HP,+10 Dmg
All Levels – Boosts healing effect of Sun bath, and damage of Sun Beams and Sun Burn by 15% (whislt in the radius)


Mana cost: 100/75/50/25
Cooldown: 225/150/75/60 seconds

Balance: At the start used mainly for its vision and ganking potential. Can keep areas lit up where you feel ganks could come from etc etc. Later on it becomes a good solid buff for team battles. Also boosts the Ultimate effect – the idea is that you want your fights to take place where you have a flare of light active, giving your team the edge.
Visual: Big Yellow Circle on map – area itself is “tinged” yellow. A small Sun Symbol of some kind – like Keeper.

Ultimate – Sun bath (Sun Kissed / Sun Drenched)

Maiden calls forth the power of the Sun and baths ally heroes with powerful soothing beams of light healing them and briefly protecting them from harm. The Spell must be channelled to achieve its full effect.
Descriptors: [Active/target area?]
1. 2 Ally Heroes – 30 HP per second, for a maximum of 5 seconds - 90 Sec CD
2. 3 Ally Heroes - 45 HP per second for a maximum of 7 seconds – 90 sec CD
3. 4 Ally Heroes - 60 HP per second for a maximum of 9 seconds – 90 sec CD
For all levels the ally Heroes (and Maiden) are protected from harm for the first 2 seconds of the channel.

Mana Cost: 200/300/400
Radius: 750/800/900
Cooldown: 90 seconds

Balance: The fact that the heal is over time and channelled means you have to use it wisely. The 2 second immunity guarantees that you at least get the first 2 seconds of the effect. Of course the enemy has time to decide if they want to target you or run w/e during that 2 seconds.
Visual: not sure :D


As stated, just a bunch of ideas atm – help with numbers etc would be appreciated.
