View Full Version : Gauntlet ult + instability acting like a mini-nuke?

I just got out of a game where an enemy gauntlet would charge up his fist, then blink on top of creepwave and ult, anyone caught within a modest distance of the wave took massive buttloads of damage.

I think this is because the glove would explode and deal AOE damage for every enemy unit it encountered, kinda like a chain reaction/mini behemoth ult, so it's like Gauntlet was fire-punching everything in the area instantly. Think 6+ level 4 fire-punches going off at once.

Just wana know if this is intended or not (it looked really fun but was kind of a downer to just get one-shot. from full health sometimes).

Match ID for reference:
2245148

Not sure if this is intended but I've seen it happen. If it is intended it needs to be scaled down slightly. Moving to confirmed.

It's confirmed, though it's quite hard to replicate.

Banished confirmed this behavior too btw

I'll find the replay I have of someone doing it. It was only a couple of replays ago. The guy did it with every punch.

Edit: To make it happen you have to be at point blank range. Saw this in another thread.

before the gauntlet tweaks iirc, report again if still an issue
