I created this topic for those who think that Bubble's "Shell Surf + Take Cover" combo should work like Puck's "Illusionary Orb + Phase Shift" combo, from DotA.

For those who do not know, Illusionary Orb is pratically equal to Shell Surf, and Phase Shift is pratically equal to Take Cover.

Here is a video of how this combo work on DotA: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Phj7pwnuRs&NR=1

PS: You can find lots of videos of puck at youtube, just search for "DotA Puck". But this one that i posted explains better the suggestion.

Conclusion: Basically, on DotA you can still click on Illusionary Orb skill to teleport self to the Orb current location, while on Phase Shift form. And on HoN you can't!

How will it work?: (considering you have Take Cover at auto-cast)

1? You use Shell Surf to somewhere.
2? Someone attacks you.
3? Take Cover is activated.
4? While channeling Take Cover, you activate Shell Surf again and teleport yourself to Shell's current location.

Suggestion: Remake Shell Surf to still be able to be activated to teleport self while channeling the Take Cover skill.

Would you like to see this suggestion implemented in HoN? Vote for it! Thanks. Cya.

I agree that this needs to be implented, but i think we should look into how the graphics should look for this combo. You obviously cannot make this change without changed what bubbles throws, or covers himself with. Therefore, i propose that he whirls his staff, then as it spins across the landscape he can teleport to it. Imo the staff would look much more kickass then the shell flying through the air and allows for bubbles to take cover while his "illusionary orb runs out it's course"

i think he should be able to do anything he wants while take cover is happening, just like a normal channel, such as activate items, cast a spell and the such it just stops take cover, as it is you have to stop take cover manually which is a real pain deffinatly for portal key
