I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this, move it if need be.

I just wanted to bring up a problem I have with the video organization of honcast. I enjoy watching tournaments as if they were live. Meaning you don't know who's going to win, but with the organization of honcast, it just puts the teams on the name of the replay.
Because of this, it shows you the teams that are in the finals. Because of this... you know who's going to win every single game, and in many cases it just makes the farther down games in a tournament not worth watching.
I do enjoy watching it non-the-less. Just a problem I have with it.

Are there any plans to move the honcast player to something not flash based (youtube/h.264/html 5)?

I want to be able to watch these on my mobile devices.

This is and has been in the works for some time now, we have def been looking into doing mobile devices and supporting them. It is one of several things on our list of what we want to accomplish in the near future with Honcast, so just stay tuned.

I also have a lot of problems with whatever video streaming/whatever thing you are using right now. Often times the video just stops and never starts playing again or I get really horrible lag (whether I'm using RTMP or prog stream). Can you just post the god damn video files for download instead of this streaming bullshit?

Where are you located and does this happen on every video you have tried?

Also, so we don't cluster these forums with these discussions all the time we do have our own forums with our own support section (more likely to get responses from all of our staff there).

agreed, the videos of the honcast semifinal games were a bit of a buzzkill because we had already seen the finals and knew the winners, but it was nice to see them try out a new caster, who did a good job, apart from saying umm every nth time.

Thank you for the input on that man, I'm generally pretty good with avoiding the "ums" just new to HoN casting style. I will continue to work on improving that. Appreciate it man.

To expand on what breaky said.

We are in the process of picking up hardware to host our video processing, and an identical server for our web applications. Quoted a couple pretty nice Dell servers this morning actually :)

Plan on supporting most phones, most likely won't have an html5 player on the website itself ( while viewing from your computer ) mainly because of ad limitations at this point - but I wouldn't have any problems doing it for mobile applications.
