I did sprinting pyramids, [I went to the track afterschool and used that], it's where you do a sprint of like 40 meters, take an x amount of time of rest, then sprint the 40 meters, then sprint back the 40 meters. Take your break, then run 40, back 40, and back 40 again, then take break, do 40/40/40/40 again, then go back down so 40/40/40, 40/40, 40.

Sorry for that wall of text, not sure if you understand it or not I just read it and it sounds a little confusing. But yeah, and with that you can do however many reps you feel like you can do without dying :p

What is says is "Don't bother performing endless ab exercises- do just this one. Canadian researchers found that the plank walkout achieves 100 percent activation of your rectus abdominis (the six-pack muscle). Add this move to your workouts to help carve your core.

Contract your abs to stabilize your spine and prevent your hips from sagging.

How to do it:
*Assume the up position of a push up, with your hands just past shoulder width and your body in a straight line.
*Brace your abs and hold them that way for the entire exercise
*Slowly walk your hands out in front of your head until your back begins to 'collapse'- in other words, the point at which your hips start to sag.
*Walk your feet forward so your body is back in the starting position of a push up, and then repeat.

Also, his first picture was in a relaxed position, while he was performing isometric flexing in the second--specifically, the so-called "most muscular" pose in bodybuilding. Judging from the vascularity in the forearms, he was probably pumped from a workout as well, or just from the flexing.
