Let's face it.
He's useless, you don't want him on your team, and the majority of the people who choose him have no idea of any decent way to play him.

This is a thread for people to post ideas to make Scout a better, more useful, more fun hero to play

Rundown:
People tend to like Scout's electric eyes. His ulti is a useful slow, but being single target and doing average amounts of damage make it not very useful.
His Stealth/Backstab is his signature skill, and... his Evade/Crit rarely come into effect.
He also suffers from being generally boring. He has Wards that are placed and forgotten about, and a passive. His stealth isn't *that* fun, and his Ulti is rarely used. He pales in comparison to Madman, and when Bounty Hunter is introduced... well, Bounty has more active skills and will fare better than Scout.

He has been compared to:
- Bounty Hunter (2 skills basically the same, 2 similar-ish skills)
- Nerubian Assassin (Frankly, I don't see it)
- Dwarven Sniper (Similar ults, but otherwise nothing alike... well, apart from the 'bad' part)

Pros:
- Wards are useful.
- Can deal burst damage early.
- Stealth can be used to... scout!

Cons:
- Terrible laner
- Useless in team fights
- Frail.
- Counterable by Ward/Gem/Dust
- Bad natural damage.
- Can only do single target damage (Bad for farming, makes him less useful in team fights)
- Provides no benefit to his team in terms of support. (No buffs, a single high cooldown slow, etc.)
- Boring to play.

Ideas:
- Make him into Bounty Hunter. (Perhaps some minor adjustments, as BH also had problems)
- Reconceptualise him.

What do you think?
Please post any ideas to fix this hero, such as skill ideas, etc. Please don't just suggest a slight stat change, as the problems with this hero seem deeper than that.

Well first off, the comparison to the nooby neruby comes from the fact that scout can use his ultimate while invisible. This ends up causing basically the same end result as the nerubian ultimate.

Also, you seem to find scout boring, most pubbers however find him terribly entertaining to play.

And even though you don't seem to be looking for a slight stat change, giving him more strength gain will give him the time he needs to kill people later game.

Scout can already burst for ~560 damage at level 7, which is rather impressive for an agility hero. The only things I think he really lacks is a disable, or the stat gain to carry late game.

Shouldn't this be in the balance discussion rather then here anyway?

Hardly, he is still useless in higher level play lol

If you play scout the right way, last hitting & deny, you will have no problem in higher level unless you're a total noob. I think now Scout is too overpowered, I have no problems getting 10 kills in less of 20 minutes, which causes our team to have the upperhand in lategame + myself get overfed.

+ you say he has terrible base damage, that's not right.

I'm not sure if you are playing the same game I am Nordoix, higher level play must mean something different to us.
