When Sand Wraith was first released, I instantly thought of the scene from The Mummy where Imhotep makes a giant wall of sand with a face. Sand control = cool.
When I saw Wraith's ult (Mirage), I felt it was a copout. So the enemy hero just IMAGINES there's a sand monster near him that's smacking him, and he still takes damage from it. And the sand monster can inhabit the form of something the enemy just THINKS is there. In fantasy RPG terms, this is acceptable, but lame.
Who thinks it would be a lot cooler if instead of making a measly ILLUSION, Wraith actually makes clones of himself from the sand? (Think Gaara from Naruto, for a childish comparison) I can envision an amazingly cool visual for the ult now -- instead of dudes just appearing briefly, then going for your throat, sand could gather on the ground and form into a sand-tinted Wraith. This could explain the 1 second delay on the illusions attacking too!
Name would also be changed to something more fitting, but I'm drawing a blank here. Skill description could be changed too. Obviously no gameplay changes.
Thoughts?
