Nuff said. Why should his crossbow shoot green bolts that look like ICBMs when he could shoot massive anti-tank missiles?

Vision must be maintained on the target during channel time, or the cast is cancelled.

Type > Nonboss Visible Enemy Units
Type: Superior Magic (Targeting) Magic (Stun and damage effect)
Range: 1750 / 2250 / 3000
Channeling Time: 0.1-10 Seconds
Mana Cost: 200 / 300 / 400
Cooldown: 110 / 100 / 90
Area of Effect: 550 / 650 / 750
Activation
Channels for max 10 seconds. At any time when the channel is broken the Javelin flies up in the sky and crashes down with massive force, stunning enemies in the AoE for channeling time divided by 3 / 2.5 / 2 and damaging enemies in the AoE for channeling time x 50 / 75 / 100.
The spell is cancelled if the target leaves sight.
So what do you think? Any ideas, or do you think this is a stale, crappy suggestion and doesnt have interesting mechanics?

Staff of the Master Effect: Turns the spell into a longer channeled, area of effect massive stun/damage spell. Removes percentual damage and slow.
Instead of the "marksman's board" which appears on top of the enemy during the old channel, http://i40.tinypic.com/1zw224h.jpg will appear (a bit dimmer version though) under the enemy when the spell is channeling.
