It's been an amazing journey here for all of us in the rapid growth of Heroes of Newerth as an eSport, and the now 100,000 strong viewers a month have shown that this game has an amazing spectator value. With that said, eSport Media / HONCAST is proud to present, sponsored by S2 Games, the first round of our eight week HoN Tournament Series.
The tournament will take place each Sunday at 11:00 Pacific Standard Time (PST) / 18:00 GMT.

cool, but how is there a 3rd place exactly? That perspective doesn't make sense it should be 3rd/4th place o.o 'semi finals' other wise i don't know how you would determine one loser over the other semi final loser

This is the 2nd tournament in an 8 tournament qualifying series, where in the end there will be an invitational of the 8 teams that make it. And in that there will be a 3rd place match as well to determine the 3rd place finisher.
:O we signed up as soon as it was availble to do so, and we didnt make it :O

It appears the demand is quite huge.
I have a question, would it be possible for you guys to place the seedings next to teams names? I'm fairly sure if I spent 5-10 minutes I could try and work it out for myself but I'm tired, lazy and I think others would also appreciate it :).
Nice work, last weeks tournament was cool.
yeha dont get me wrong, i iant moaning, just shocked we didnt make it :D
lets hope we can make it sometime in the future.

When it is first posted there is a sign up page link... on here as well as the tournament section on the site. However when it fills up it goes away, so you can't see it right now.

According to the brackets you guys shouldn't meet before the final match. Were they altered in some way?

Brackets were altered due to teams dropping out, and imbalancing the brackets in general. :)

Now is going on Series 2? Did series 1 winner get 600? Now get series 2 winner also gets 600?
Please elaborate, it's a bit unclear.
