The first tournament is being hosted pvitately by Avan of Clan iXi - http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=6786 This tournament is being hosted by a web site. They are in no way related. I'm sure that as HoN's popularity grows after release, there will be MANY, MANY tournaments running concurrently.

I posted this on the gamereplays forums as well, but...

Why must the same 5 players play the entire tournament? It's very feasible that the whole event could take more than the 3-4 hours advertised, and I'm not confident we can have the same 5 people on for the entire stretch.

Sorry about that :( but it's hard to find a good time for the tourney, because of the time zones. When S2 games add replays, we will be hosting the replays during the whole week and the finals would be played on weekends. What I mean is, you guys would arrange a day to play the game during the week, send us the results and the replay.

I updated the first topic with the brackets and the winner.

There are no replays atm and the spectating is broken, so we couldn't do a live cast. I hope the spectating bug will be fixed for the next tourney and that S2 games allows us to live stream the tournament.
