Just drop the file into the Heroes C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game directory to install. Delete said file to uninstall the mod.
The only thing this mod doesn't have is team colors.

First of all, this mod is awesome. But then again, something doesn't fit so well. The projectile of slither doesn't fit with the hydralisk. And would it be too much to ask for someone...anyone...to make some effects and icons for the skills? Still Forever_Zero, I will download this mod and you receive a big 10 from me for this mod, and congratulations.

It's not just the teleport scrolls acting weird, all item effects are screwed up with this mod. I'll try to fix this tomorrow.

when u are in base regen or use tp there come 4 big red circles around him making infinite lag and that with 4gb RAM and 3.4gzh Dualcore o.o and 512 DDR Graphic-Ram
And a blue BIG Orb comes aroudn him and he is fully inv. when u use Ghostmarchers, i?m not a good modeler but i think the bones should be get fixed and some animations must be removed^^

Alright, I fixed the problem the model was having with items. The tradeoff is that the death animation looks silly. Oh well. I updated the download link with the newer version.

Night hound would be more suitable as the invisibilty is auto...don't have to cast it just like the Dark Templar.imo

I have a great idea, change Slither's wards into Spore Crawlers.
EDIT: And change the attack projectile into that slimy crap that Corruptors shoot.
EDIT2: And change the debuff graphics of Poison Spray so that it's not a worm-leech thing on them, it's a Broodling instead.
EDIT3: Or even a drastically scaled-down Brood Lord.
EDIT4: And change the Flying Courier into a mutalisk =)
EDIT5: And Engineer into a Ghost. (goggles + single shot rifle)

It should not be that hard to make this work on medium and low model settings...
Just 1 line of text...
Change this:
<model name="" file="high.model" type="K2" high="hydralisk.model" >To this:
<model name="" file="high.model" type="K2" high="hydralisk.model" med="hydralisk.model" low="hydralisk.model" >You can also put anything to the model name.
The file that contains this line is model.mdf and it can be opened with notepad.

the NH Dark templar would kick ass! I did make NH dark templar, btw. Sweet model. I made a whole boatload of starcraft sound mods, including a sound pack that makes slither into hydralisk, in case that hasn't already been done a hundred times. Any starcraft fan should at least give it a look. Anyway, thanks for making a great model for us SC fans out there.

- The model is copyrighted by Blizzard so it is really a bad idea to import it into HoN
- the port is partially done :
> the model has not been added the bones necessary to display effects
> the skin colours are too dark and brownish only
> there is no normal map

Nah. Mods for Models on existing characters have been done for a long time, ever since Quake 2/1. As long as you don't actually release it as a product for profit, then you can do whatever you want. Plus, i'm sure the OP's model won't be an official model anyway
Not at all. It depends on each Game studio policy on that matter. Generally you can mod assests of a game but only for the game it comes from. Some companies are laxist on that matter but some are not at all and I bet Blizzard is not.

On the side note: bones would be pretty easy to add.

True but things like that might make them less lenient about these kinds of things also.
So its a gamble if you want to import models from other games.
But yeah most of the time they dont seem to care or atleast wont sue people...

I'd do it if anyone could tell me how to extract models from SC2
However, getting a dark archon model is more or less impossible, it just doesn't exist
Devourer as ultralisk makes no sense, devourer revolves around hooking, an ultralisk has no such capacity
While the nymph and valkyrie thing sorta makes sense...both of them?
I will do this if someone will tell me how

It doesnt work for me, I see slither as a little greens stump ? the size as he would be if normal. However, in the champion selection lobby, I do see the hydralisk icon and ingame I do hear the SFX.
When i tried to do what Yuichi said it just turned slither into a teapot

same problem as ButtCheddaaa. its just a stump when i try to run the game but the icon is there. Then the model that moves beside the hero info in-game is still slither too.

ok well i may have found out why it's coming out as a stump. Though i can't give details since i have no idea how these things work :D
Anyway, i tried installing this texture by dropping in the "game" folder of HON. That didn't work as it came out as the stump.
I tried extracting it and the same result came. But i noticed that the toxic wards had a maximum of 3 charges rather than 2 charges.
So i believe that the texture just isn't compatible to the changes made to slither. Thus the file is being read wrong.
Hope this helps for updating the texture.

I didn't make any changes to the model itself, so some effects from items and skills won't show properly on him.

Download it again, fixed it 4 reelz this time.
The problem was the low and medium quality models weren't defined.

I tried it again. Now i can see the model. Though there is an interesting effect with the lighting.
Not really complaining. In my opinion, it looks pretty cool like this. Am just letting you know about it.
